<image:caption>I create bespoke training programmes that are designed to provide individuals and organisations with the tools to recognise and dismantle systemic biases, including racism, gender inequality, and Islamophobia, both within themselves and in their organisations. Through interactive workshops, thought-provoking discussions, and engaging activities, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how oppression and discrimination operate and how they can actively work to dismantle them. Topics covered include: Understanding the history and impact of racism, gender inequality, VAWG and Islamophobia Recognizing implicit systems of oppression and microaggressions Creating inclusive and anit-oppressive environments that value diversity Building allyship and working in solidarity with marginalised peoples Developing policies and practices that promote equity, inclusivity and liberation I deliver training and courses on Islamic Feminism where I explore the history of Islamic feminism from its early beginnings, where you will learn about the early female scholars who challenged gender norms in the Islamic world to the modern-day activists who are working to promote women's rights in Muslim-majority countries. You will gain a deeper understanding of the intersectionality of gender and Islam, and how Muslim women are working to address the multiple forms of oppression that they face.</image:caption>

<image:title>About - HUDA</image:title>
<image:caption>I was born in Baghdad and left Iraq at the age of two. I have travelled the Middle East throughout my childhood eventually settling in the UK in 1988. Growing up in a family context where political activism and faith were the staples of life, I grew up with an acute understanding of the different ways and layers at which faith, politics and organised religion interact and influence each other, the individual and society. I graduated with combined Honours Degree in Sociology and Psychology from Roehampton University and a Masters in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. I hold a PTTLS Level 4 Certificate and I am a qualified National Women’s Aid trainer in Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence. I am proud to be one of the co-organisers of the Women's March London and the SAFE Communities Project Coordinator at Standing Together Against Domestic Violence. I co-chair the Harmful Practices Group that coordinates policy and practice across the boroughs of Westminster, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham. It is also my privilege to serve co-chair of the End Violence Against Women Coalition. My feminist awakening began when I was co-ordinating the first research project of its kind at Solace Women's Aid. The 3-year study, Finding the Costs of Freedom, tracked the lives of 100 women who left their violent partners. I joined Standing Together Against Domestic Violence as a Housing Coordinator and within a year I developed the Safety Across Faith and Ethnic Communities Project which engages and capacity builds Black and Minoritised community grassroots and faith organisations to respond to domestic abuse and gender based violence appropriately. I am a Clore Social Leadership Fellow for 2017 with a gender specialism. I was one of the co-organisers of Women's March London from January 2018- June 2019</image:caption>
